The Nippon Matsuri refers to an ancient Japanese tradition according to which every phase of the solar year was to be celebrated by the community as a sign of good omen through special propitiatory rites: the Matsuri, in fact.
The festival arrives in San Marino in 2015 by the will of Professor Hideaki Kase, who, admired by the history of the oldest Republic in the world and bewitched by the charm of his proud independence, is the Japan-San Marino Friendship Association.
