Christmas of Wonders
Every year, the ancient Republic of San Marino celebrates Christmas in the magic atmosphere of its old town and picturesque districts, that are scattered with enchanting decorations, bright lights and shining ornaments.
December’s calendar is rich in amazing events: the traditional Christmas Market with its original gifts and presents, funny entertainment activities for both adults and children, lovely Christmas concerts, poignant gospel stories and the unmissable New Year’s Concert of San Marino’s Military Band at Titano Theatre.
On New Year’s Eve a great open-air party is arranged in Piazza Sant’Agata to celebrate the beginning of the New Year. Starting from 22:00, excellent traditional specialities will be served, and midnight will be greeted by a toast and spectacular fireworks shows.
Dates : December 1st - 2nd, 8th - 9th, 15th - 16th, 22nd - 26th (25th only in the afternoon), 29th - 31st
January 1st 2013 (only in the afternoon), 5th - 6th
